How does breeding early give more female pups?

Male sperm are faster, but die sooner. Female sperm swim slower, but live longer. So if you breed early (eg before the eggs are ready) the majority of the male sperm will have died before there were eggs to fertilize, but the female sperm will still be there. If you breed late (eg after the eggs are ready) the male sperm will get there and fertilize all the eggs before the slower female sperm arrive.

well the human version of this was discovered by accident when a well known doctor realised that very strict Jewish ladies are not allowed to have sex for XX days after their period finishes. This brings them up to the day of ovulation – in general cases. there are more MALE children born to strict Jewish families.

So the doctor came to the conclusion that early “mating” brings more females because the sperm which carry the female sex live longer, whereas the sperm which carry the male sex swim faster but have a shorter life.

I’m trying this with this AI on a Frenchie and I will post the results. I’ve also heard a more acidic environment is preferable to the female causing sperm. Alkaline for male swimmers.
